Sažetak
During a period of 6 months in 1992, 117 war victims receives massive transfusion at the General War Hospital "Dr Josip Benčević" in Slavonski Brod. On admission all patients were in a state of severe traumatic and hemorrhagic shock. We present an analysis of serum pottasium level regarding to the amount of intraoperatively transfused blood and postoperative acid base balance state respectively.
