Sažetak
Detection of climate variations and changes in air temperature and precipitation in the Croatia of the 20th century has been performed according to the measurements, which began during the 19th century at meteorological stations in different climates: - Osijek (continental climate), - Zagreb-Grič (continental climate with mild maritime influence), - Gospić (continental climate Croatian highlands with strongly maritime influence), - Crikvenica (maritime climate of the eastern coast of the northern Adriatic) and - Hvar (maritime climate of the Dalmatian islands). In the last period of time in the ten warmest years - since 2000 - 7 were recorded in Zagreb, 6 in Gospić and Crikvenica, 5 in Hvar and 4 in Osijek Precipitations in the period 1901-2008 there is a statistically significant increase in the annual number of dry days (RD <1.0 mm) in the entire Croatia, mostly negative trend in wet days (Rd ≥ R75%) are significant in Osijek and Crikvenica. Contribution to reducing the annual amount of precipitation in Croatia attributed the changes in the frequency of rainy days of low intensity and significantly increased the frequency of dry days. The trend of annual precipitation showed a decrease during the 20th century in the whole Croatian territory - thus joining the trend of drying in the Mediterranean. CLIMATE CHANGE AND NATURAL DISASTERS - Analysis of drought in the Istria region are expecially particularly significant and visible in the example of Rakonek spring – cummulative monthly rainfall and yield, and also int he Accumulation Botonega on decreasing of the water levels.
