Sažetak
Bovine mastitis is characterized by a strong release of white blood cells into the mammary gland due to bacterial infection. We found three differentially expressed proteins in subclinical mastitis versus control. Serpin A3-1 and vitronectin were found to be upregulated and complement factor H was found to be downregulated in subclinical mastitis. In clinical mastitis it was found overexpression of haptoglobin and apolipoprotein A-I compared to subclinical mastitis.
