Sažetak
The article investigates the parliamentary elections in Croatia in 2011 and causes of electoral success of „Kukuriku“ coalition. The author concludes that Zoran Milanović’s style was much more attractive to the independent and swing voters than was the rigid style of Jadranka Kosor. In addition, HDZ refused to take responsibility for the negative features of their time in office, including corruption and economic decline, and this lack of accountability also failed to attract the voters.
