Sažetak
The research was conducted aiming 23 regions in 14 European Countries evaluating the rate of awareness and experience in the field of EU funding. The survey was conducted among the key stakeholders in France, Sweden, Austria, Croatia, Finland, Greece, Italy, Netherland, Slovakia, Germany, Poland, Romania, Spain and UK. The research results will give the guidance to sustainable regional development. Human resource management significantly determines the way of future development of every European region. Their knowledge, education and experience give us very good background for use of available funds. The main contribution made by this paper is executing in benchmarking sectoral funds and structural funds and its positive/negative feedback.
