Sažetak
The paper presents the results of experimental tests of the limit strength capacity and deflection of some different one-way and two-way reinforced concrete slabs. The effect of the reinforcement arrangements on the limit strength capacity and deflection of the slabs was analyzed. The already developed numerical model of the authors for the analysis of reinforced concrete plates and shells was additionally tested on the performed experimental tests. The model can simulate the most dominant nonlinear effects of concrete and reinforcement, as well as the effect of structure large displacement. The comparison between the experimental and numerical results confirms the reliability of this numerical model. Among others, it was concluded that the reinforcement arrangement significantly affects the limit strength capacity and deflection of one-way and two-way concrete slabs.
