Sažetak
The strong emphasis on post- and transdisciplinarity is gaining more support thant the "traditional" interdisciplinarity emanating from structured cross-disciplinarity exchange. The debate on the scientific status of interdisciplinarity research shows similar features, with the social sciences constantly struggling for recognition as an academic discipline since the beginning of sociology. This issue brings together the results of European projects that have viewed the social sciences from a specific interdisciplinary angle as well as revised versions of papers that were held at an international conference in the University of Zadar held in May 2008, dealing with experiences in interdisciplinary research.
