Sažetak
Republic of Croatia has adopted the Regulatory development of e-commerce, that should enable Croatia to establish high level of e-commerce due to equally participation on internal EU market and EU information society, to seize the power of information and communication technology and knowledge on arranged business processes in order to increase a level of competitiveness of Croatian economy and to increase public sector efficacy and become regional leader in development and appliance of e-commerce. E-commerce represents the commerce conducted in a specific manner, considering the way of defining the carrier of information and legally relevant message, which in this case is an electronic medium in contrast to the “classical” way of commerce. Legal regulation is aiming towards the establishment of the regulatory framework exactly in such specific environment primary achieved through the electronic medium. As opposed to the present commerce based on verbal contracts or contracts “in writing”, information carrier at e-commerce is the electronic medium carrying the legally relevant message.
