Sažetak
The firs stage in any assessment of competition policy issues is defining the relevant market. The purpose of defining the relevant market is twofold: first, it serves to establish the framework within which competition policy is applied and to identify in a systematic way the competitive constraints that the undertakings involved face (whether abuse of market power, implications of agreements between firms, or mergers and acquisitions) ; second, more practically, it serves to calculate relevant market power.
