Sažetak
Rules on the free movement of goods, people, services, and capital are essential for the establishment of the European internal market. This article describes the main elements of those rules with an emphasis on the case law of the European Court of Justice, which played a quintessential role in assuring the implementation of these rules in member states. Although Croatia is still not a member of the European Union, rules on free movement are relevant for Croatia in its process of accession to the European Union.
