Sažetak
The T-Pot project has been presented. General information about duration and project co-ordinator were presented. Also the main idea was explained, which is, primarily to reinforce the research potentials of the faculty of Textile Technology University of Zagreb, which today is one of the leading institutions of the kind in Europe, particularly focused on scientific activities in the field of textile technologies, and to strength the university sector in becoming the major component of the Croatian national innovation system. And, also to develop the capacity for breakthrough research, leading to innovative textile and textile related products, contributing in this way to the local industry, both nationally and in the region. The overall objective of T – Pot project have been presented with main deliverables of the project that was to setup and maintain the Textile Portal to serve as a key dissemination tool. The three PhD students from the fund of projects were employed, and also one experienced researcher has been recruited. The two new laboratories fully equipped were established, a couple of workshops were organized and the two books are in preparation for publishing: Young scientists in protective textiles research and Functional Protective Textiles. T-Pot and TSRC Brochures are also published. The new research focus was also presented, which is on protective textiles, one of the Lead market initiatives (LMI) of European Technology Platform.
