Sažetak
The paper deals with the position and function of education in the conditions of the scientific-technical revolution. The author reveals both favourable and unfavourable influences and difficulties in the process of educating young people. In these circumstances, there is a need for professional-advisory pedagogical services as a necessity while dealing with numerous and various problems related to upbringing and which are due to the accelerated growth of science, technogloy and neglect of moral values and general spiritual values.
