Sažetak
The concept and demands on future mobile systems are described. To handle the growing traffic the second generation systems must use some kind of dynamic channel assignment and/or dual band operation. New services have to be added in the second generation systems to meet the requirement of UMTS. Specially GRPS and new technologies must be implemented to enable world-wide roaming and seamless connections between different systems Expected applications and services for the third generation of mobile communications are described.
