Sažetak
The authors argue that the traditional work of mental health counselors and psychologist (such as psychotherapy) can be enhanced by integrating approaches such as outreach, advocacy, and prevention. Being culturally responsive, which is sine qua non of contemporary mental health services, requires innovative and socially responsible thinking. This is particularly important when working with members of racial minorities and other underserved populations.
