Sažetak
A real-time system for tracking and analyzing animal motion during pharmacological experiments is described. The system is designed as SCMO (Stationary Camera, Moving Objects) system for tracking two-dimensional (2D) motion of animals. The tracking and analysis process comprises three phases: change detection in dynamic scene, object tracking and cognition. The first two phases are implemented in a real-time by using simple, heuristic and fast algorithms. A significant increase of processing speed was gained by using the attention area concept.
