Sažetak
The aim of this research was to determine the concentration of gangliosides, sialoglycoproteins and sphingoid bases sphingosine and sphinganine in liver of 1, 2- dimethylhydrazine-treated CF1 mice. CF1 mice were supplied daily with essentially sphingolipid-free diets containing ganglioside GM1 and tribomechanically treated zeolite clinoptilolite TMAZ (diets were supplemented with 0, 025% to 0, 1% GM1 and 2, 5% to 10% zeolite clinoptilolite) or a control, to determine what is the fate of sphingolipids that are consumed in food and how they affect the extraneural organs.
