There is an increasing awareness today, both worldwide and in Croatia, of the importance of a healthy and relaxing sleep. Furniture manufacturers, traders and users are all increasingly aware of this need. Our market offers products named healthy, environmentally friendly, biological, natural, orthopaedic, medical, anti-allergic, etc.
This paper discusses the latest knowledge on bed systems, materials, as well as on allergies caused by an application of inadequate materials. Professionals from the fields of medicine and furniture design can define the criteria for using proper terms for bed furniture.
