Sažetak
The project incorporates analyses of economic situation in Croatian cities from several different aspects: population and urbanisation, the economic role of the Croatian cities, social and housing issues in Croatia, urban environmental challenges, urban governance system with special focus on decentralisation, and other issues which are relevant for development of Croatian cities. The main goal of the provided data, materials and expert opinions about Croatian cities is to draft the preliminary review of the state of Croatian cities, in English language, as an input to the UN-HABITAT report: State of the European Cities in Transition Report, which will be published as an international publication.
