Sažetak
The role of innovative computer technologies in the processes of textile and garment design is one of the indispensable factors in successful and competitive business of textile and clothing manufacturers. The dynamics of changes in fashion trends and an increasing interest in the clothing market that will reflect a person's fashion identity creates a need for designers to express their creative potential in accordance with customer needs. The application of CAD systems and software packages intended for textile and garment design with the three-dimensional visualization of a model significantly accelerates the development of new garment collections, whereby the realistic presentation of a designer's idea is achieved. The analysis of design fit for the selected body type is thus made possible. The paper describes the development of a garment collection using the CAD system and the software package designed for interactive two-dimensional design of textiles and art project of garment collections. Taking the next step, another software package was used, and the complex development of a garment model was carried out, with the aim of their three- dimensional simulation and visualization in accordance with the initial art project and applying design patterns. Complex development of the collection of computer prototypes of 3D models of woman's cocktail dresses was performed into variants suitable for different anthropometric body properties and age groups of consumers and in accordance with initial art projects. The entire development was carried out using a 2D/3D CAD system used for interactive design and modeling of 2D patterns and 3D simulation and visualization of garment models applying patterns, textures and colors of fabrics and seams.
