Sažetak
Cognitive psychology is a wide area which traditionally collects research which deals with perception, attention, memory, the psychology of language or psycholinguistics, acquirement of concepts, organisation of knowledge, thinking, reasoning, problem solving, judgement, decision making and consciousness. Although cognitive psychology is one of the basic research areas of experimental psychology, it is often connected with applied disciplines which for example study cognitive possibilities and limitations in education, in courtrooms and ergonomics as well as specific cognitive deficits in perception, memory, language processing and thinking. This chapter gives brief description of the papers in area of cognitive psychologogy published by members of the Department of Psychology in Zadar during first 30 years since Department was established.
