Sažetak
The described period of sea-faring in the Adriatic is characterized by the stability of the Roman state which provided economical prosperity and trade that connected all parts of the Empire. Eastern Adriatic coast was included in the trade, which is confirmed by archaeological finds. Adriatic was placed in general eastern maritime route which connected central parts of the Empire with the east.The south Adriatic is the point where that eastern route met western, connention with south Italy. Number of underwater sites are described, as well as the cargoes and other finds.
