Sažetak
Subtiling is in many ways a specific form of translation, and some general translation stragegies are used more than others. One of the key features of subtitles is the fact that they interact with what is see on the screen. The shift from oral source text to written target text is also specific for subtitling. The chapter explores these statements on concrete examples from subtitling practice in Croatia.
