Sažetak
In order to achieve sustainable tourism development it is necessary that stakeholders at all levels, from local to national, act in accordance with the principles of sustainable development. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to create a framework for the development of quality tourism offer and the competitiveness of Šibenik as a tourist destination. If a tourist destination is managed under the principles of sustainable development, it fulfills a prerequisite for the short and long term balance and creates greater value for all stakeholders in tourism.
