Sažetak
This B.A. thesis explained the semantic meanings of the Croatian verb prefixes and prepositions "od" and "do". Furthermore it dealt with the concrete usage of both, prefixes and prepositions, in the same sentence, and explained when and why a certain prefix-preposition combination is allowed. Sets of sentences were provided where the entities of the Trajector and the Landmark were changed in order to see how those influence the acceptability of the prefix-preposition combination. According to the examples it can be concluded that the acceptability depends on the animateness of the Trajector and the shape and the animateness of the Landmark. In the end conclusions were summarized in tables which present all possible combinations, which of those are allowed and which are not.
