Sažetak
Croatian Association for Professional Help to Children with Special Needs IDEM, through project Center for children with special needs, builds a model for integration of these children into regular educational system. The main characteristic of the model is flexibility and adaptation to needs of the children, their families, school standards and possibilities of a local community. Clients are pupils with special needs, their parents and teachers. The project has been realized through the following activities: 1. Direct work with children a) Additional help in learning b) Development of abilities that are necessary for learning, personal and social adaptation within rehabilitation programs:  Perceptive - kinetic stimulation  Rehabilitation through movement  Sociotherapy 2. Work with teachers a) Advisory help in designing individually adapted program in school b) Education of teachers for the acceptance of students with special needs 3. Work with parents 4. Diagnostic 5. Multi-disciplinary teem work
