Sažetak
The life assessment on all boiler components is based on data available at the beginning of the design phase. Most remaining life assessment are made based on cycling calculations and using the assumptions laid out in guidelines and regulations. Regular inspection intervals in TE Trbovlje over the past 40 000 hours have provided data to make an attempt to perform the calculations backwards to the basic material properties and safety margins. The issue and choice of inspection data, comparison with the results from the ALIAS monitoring system will be demonstrated on the case of the drum assessment. The ALIAS system will be used for the safe prediction of the remaining operation time to be within the limits of the prediction made in this paper. The ALIAS system is a scalable solution for all sizes of power plants and its introduction will enable life assessment of all relevant components of power plant. It will be shown that with such an assessment the targeted life prolongation of 80 000 hours can be safely reached.
