Sažetak
The issue of the contents of tourist offer in standardized conditions of rendering tourist services becomes a prerequisite for the desired quality level of these services. The Croatian natural researces indisputably meet the initial requirements concerning the ecologically clean environment and the care for the health of guests. The applicability of programmes, directed towards recreation and health preservation, as well as health improvement, and conducted in the whole world, is highly correlated with tourism. As a tertiary industry, sports recreation and health preservation, as well as health improvement, are assigned a particular role of protecting and improving the health of guests. The demand for such and offer in increasing, and the evaluation of programmes applied points to the humanistic and economic values regarding the development of this type of tourist offer. Management realized at various levels plays the key role in crating and implementing these specific forms of tourist offer. This paper presents the functions and the scope of work of managers in creating and implementing such a tourist offer which places emphasis on sports-recreational activities and health preservation and health improvement.
