Sažetak
A systematic research of extensive stable and grazing breeding of domesticated hybrid cows in traditional stables established the existence of satisfactory health. ˝Unhygienic˝ wooden and stone stables, often under some cover with human inhabitans, with neglected floors and no savage system and almost no windows nor ventilation, had an unexpectedly satisfying micro-climate without seasonal respiratory or alimentary infection, sterility and hoof and udder diseases known as conditional illnesses and technopathy. We assumed this was the reflection of specific cattle-breeding with hay and grazing in the valley of the Dinaric karst at the borderline of the continental and Mediterranean climates.
