Talk will include descriptions and brief analyses of the geo-political issues of greatest concern, followed by lengthy discussion of possible failures in U.S. and NATO policy with regard to:
- Need for faster fusion of east and central European nations with PFP, NATO and EU;
- Dealing more firmly with rogue states such as North Korea, Pakistan;
- Assets within allied nations for programmed growth of U.S./allied nation regional defense cooperation;
- Preventing China from developing hegemonious policies/strategies;
- The Weapons of Mass Destruction Threat;
- Power of electronic information technologies;
- Perceiving the value of new democracies (Croatia as a model for this topic-component)
