Sažetak
The experiences from single and small scale production show losses in time, materials, tools and money and which are results of wrong cutting parameters. The problem occurs from subjective or objective reasons takes into consideration Japanese production philosophy based on continues improvements or Kaizen the problem of wrong cutting parameters is solved through the applying of expert system that will allow the worker to choose proper cutting parameters. The paper shows how expert system could be successfully applied in cutting parameter problem and how to achieve output parameters (cutting depth. speed and feed) according to applied input parameters.
