Sažetak
Aim of the work was to determine alteration products and processes in the pyroclastics rocks in the
Macelj area.
Different mineral parageneses were determined by the XRD method. Paragenesis depend on position
in sedimentary column.
The alteration is result of the burial diageneses.
Crystallization of different alteration products was also influenced by primary material composition.
Following alteration products were determined:
Heulandite group zeolite, Mordenite, Analcime, Opal-CT, Potassium feldspar, Celadonite and Smectite.
