Sažetak
The author presents the way in which professors at the University of Buda and Pest accepted trends contemporary chemistry. Josip Franjo Domin adopted the phlogiston theory from J. Priestly in chemistry of air (1784) while Ludwig Mitterpacher accepted the antiphlogiston theory in technology and natural history (1796).
