Sažetak
The complexity of making coated materials is described. The coated component or polyurethane polymers make a wide application of the final product possible. These materials are primarily used for garments protecting against rain and wind with knitted fabric or woven fabric as the basic component. Laminating woven fabric with nanopur coating and artificial leather obtained from knitted fabric as the basic component with polyurethane coating (PU) are dealt with. PU coating of the knitted fabric was done using the transfer method with paper in the last phase (or head) of the machine. The first two layers are polyurethane, solvents, additives and pigments, and the third layer are binders, solvents and cross linking agent when the knitted fabric is laminated. The difference among the samples is in components and portions of polyurethane coating. Materials were treated for antibacterial protection and resistance to UV light. The impact of physical mechanical properties was investigated, separately for the basic material (woven and knitted fabric) and for the nanopur and polyurethane coating and their influence on the finished material. According to the results obtained the differences in material properties were shown.
