Sažetak
Despite its primary, vital function of satisfying physiological needs, food can be the key factor in different situations such as entertainment, associations, and in getting acquainted with regional cultures. In such a way, food can be one of the alternative opportunities for the develoopment of the particular area. This article addresses one of the increasingly important elements in the tourism industry today which contributes to the competitiveness of a country as a tourism destination - food.
