Antibiotics use in Animal Husbandry is an issue of growing public concern. However, practices and intensity of antibiotics use will vary over Europe. In this contribution veterinary practices in Slovenia and Croatia are described: how do veterinarians work together with farmers and institutions, and which guidelines are followed to apply medicines for cattle.
