Sažetak
The objecti ve of this paper was to investi gate the eff ect of the vermicompost applicati on on grain yield and plant height of winter wheat. Experiment was conducted in semi-controlled conditi ons. Highest grain yield in soil with opti mal ferti lity and in a low ferti lity was obtained with 900 g of vermicompost per pot 7.95 g and 7.47 g, respecti vely. However, stati sti cal differences were not observed among soils of diff erent ferti lity. Additi on of 900 g vermicompost also resulted with stati sti cally higher straw height (54.46 cm) at the opti mal ferti lity soil compared with low ferti lity soil (49.87 cm). Foliar applicati on of dissolved vermicompost showed that the greatest response of wheat yield was found aft er two spraying (5.13 g), conversely plant height showed highest values with three spraying (42.72 cm).
