Sažetak
A marine environment under a mussel farm in the Gulf of Trieste, was studied during two periods. POC, PON and Chl a concentrations were measured inside and outside the farm, in order to acess the role of mussel biodeposition along the water column and in the sediment. The results obtained showed that the spring period was characterised by higher POC, PON and Chl a values than in autumn. Considering the two environments (inside and outside the mussel farm) we observed a slight difference, probably due to the mussel impact on the water column.
