Sažetak
The addition of small concentration of thallium into electrolyte for the metal electrodeposition have a significant influence on mechanism, electrochemical reastion rate as well as on the structure and quality of the obtained coatings used for the electronic components production. Cyclic voltammetry method for the cathodic polarisation of thallium on rotating Au-Si electrode in citrate solution was used. The obtained results showed that thallium adsorption-desorption process (influenced by the rate of the polarisation) occurred at the potential of -750 mV (SEC). The amount of adsorbed-desorbed thallium is in linear dependence on polarisation rate, electrode rotation speed and electrolyte temperature. Interruption of the polarisation process at -1000 mV (SCE) enables adsorption-desorption of different amount of thallium on the electrode which is in linear dependence with time of the polarisation interruption.
