Sažetak
Today`s man consumens large amounts of energy for life and standard maintenance. Supplies of standard energy sources are limited. Thus energy consumption becomes economic, ecological and ethic problem in the world. Agriculture and food industry represent important energy consumers. Cereals, especially wheat are the main energy source for survival and work of most inhabitants. Conventional technology of wheat production consumes via used seed 6138 MJ, mineral fertilizers 16817 MJ, pesticides 495 MJ as well as human labour and machinery work 7196 MJ ha-1 energy. Consumed energy without preceding crops is equivalent to energy value of 851 disel fuel. Direct field machinery work demands 128, 19 ha-1 fuel and 3, 85 ha -1 oil. Of this amount 67, 66 1 fuel and oil or 51, 2% are consumed for basic tillage, presowing preparation and sowing. By reduced soil tillage application it is possible to decrease energy consumption by 28, 6%to increase work productivity by 11, 7%. Ratinalization of work and energy consumption is prerequisition of wheat price reduction.
