Sažetak
Five tillage systems in 1996-1997 were compared in maize production on Luvisol anthropogenised soil in north-west Slavonia, Croatia. Compared tillage systems and implements were: 1. Conventional system - plough, discharrow and combined implement (CT), 2. Reduced conventional system - plough and combined implement (RCT), 3. Conservation system I - chisel plough and power harrow (CPH), 4. Conservation system II - chisel plough and multitiller (CMT), 5. No-till system - no-till planter (NT). The aim of testing was comparison of different tillage systems energy requirement and its influence on yield. Results indicate that conventional tillage system was the greatest energy consumer. Comparing to conventional tillage system, reduced system with plough and combined implement required 16.1% less, chisel plough and power harrow 26.9% less, chisel plough and multitiller 40.8% less, while no-till system required even 85.1% less energy per hectare. The greatest yield of 7.78 t/ha achieved conventional tillage system. Next to it was conservation system II with 7.77 t/ha. No-till system achieved 7.56 t/ha, while conservation system I achieved yield of 7.54 t/ha. The lowest yield of 7.17 t/ha achieved reduced system.
