Sažetak
The aim of the Symposium is to bring together experts in kinesiological education with different experience to discuss the current developments of kinesiological ideas regarding prevention in Education, especially in pre-school and primary school education. All the papers peer-reviewed by two independent reviewers will be published in the Conference Proceedings. The conference intends to attract professionals, students and academics alike. Kinesiological prevention is one of the fundamental factors of the integrative power of kinesiology. Issues related to health, education, leisure, decline in motor and functional ability, etc., are universal and important issues dealt with by many scientific branches, including Kinesiology. The reasons for this are: 1) Global issues not covered by other sciences are the focus of interest of kinesiology. 2) In kinesiology it is necessary to constantly question the relationship between theory and practice, between the set and achieved goals, in other words, relationships between contemporary day and age and future. 3) The expected development of awareness of the need to exercise in the 21 century. The topic of the Symposium particularly deals with curricular changes in the world and in Croatia, where the scientific conference conclusions, including this symposium, could have and should have influence on the changes of kinesiological knowledge. The Symposium is part of the scientific project (Kinesiological education in preschool and primary education), executed with the support of the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports of the Republic of Croatia.
