Sažetak
We introduce the concept of sentiment profiles, representations of emotional content in texts and the SentiProfiler system for creating and visualizing such profiles. We also demonstrate the practical applicability of the system in literary research by describing its use in analyzing novels in Gothic fiction genre. Our results indicate that the system is able to support literary research by providing valuable insights into the emotional content of Gothic novels.
