Sažetak
In the paper, the numerical estimate of stresses and strains in the laminated composite material structural units, e.g. multilayered symmetric orthotropic plates, is explained. Using the terms of the classical lamination theory and the stress-strain relations for the plane-stress state, the numerical analysis of the multilayered composite plates is carried out. Two different types of the symmetric laminates, angle-ply and cross-ply laminates are analyzed. The analyzed laminates were composed of unidirectional laminae in which as reinforcement fibers of E-glass and as matrix material epoxy resin was used. In the given examples, the stress-strain analyses of the symmetric four-layered plates were performed. The results of analyses for the laminated plates are presented graphically in diagrams.
