Sažetak
In this paper we use the example of Hrvatska Kostajnica to demonstrate how the Croatian Ministry of Finance allocates current grants to municipalities and cities in the Areas of Special National Concern, Groups I and II. These are areas in which special incentive measures for reconstruction and development are applied, with a view to alleviating the consequences of war, facilitating the return of displaced population, encouraging demographic and economic growth and ensuring a balanced development of all regions in Croatia.
