Sažetak
Author states that Herder’s racially intermixed mankind, rather than being a natural entity as it proclaims to be, is tantamount to a retroactive invention of European mind at a particular historical point. Its naturalness is culturally induced. Its smooth racial transformability turns out to be nothing but modern Europe’s self-congratulating mirror. Europe stylizes itself as an ideal father who aggrandizes his generosity by depicting mankind’s diversity and multiplicity.
