Sažetak
We report preliminary results of an experiment
where ablation by an excimer laser was used as a
tool to produce the Dy plasma and use it tot
study basic atomic parameters of dysprosium
atoms. An excimer laser operating at 308nm was
used for ablation. The whole experimental setup
consisted of a vacuum chamber with the rotating
Dy-target, an excimer laser, a monochromator with
a photomultiplier tube, a box-car averager, an
A/D converter and a PC for the computer data
acquisition.
