Sažetak
The article discusses the results of a study conducted among a cohort of first year university students of English, and a cohort of fourth year university students of English. The aim of the study was to diagnose students’ understanding of their own problems in acquiring the English articles, and the problems in the acquisition of the English articles by Croatian learners of English in general.
