Sažetak
The vaccinal strain VMG 91 of infectious bursal disease virus (IBDV) of intermediate virulence was used for vaccination via drinking water and nebulisation using ultra-sound nebulizer producing 1-3 micron patricles. In spite of different atrium of infection the method of nebulization enables IBDV, applied deeply into the respratory tract of a chicken to the alveola wall, to reach the blood stream either by phagocytosis or resorption. Thus it enables identical tissue distribution of virus as by application in drinking water.
