Sažetak
The lack of clarity on the future of climate change policies does not diminish the importance of appropriate considerationof likely future emissions costs in electrictyresource planning. To the contrary, a reasonable projection of a range of costs is critical to investment decisions and the selection of least-cost resource plans that will be robust under a variety of circumstances. Results from mathematical model: even with higher investment costs, nuclear option is more competitive than any other with CO2 price higher than 10 €/tCO2.
