Sažetak
The objective of system identification has different aspects. The recent non-destructive testing is recent application: system/structure/material characterization. This paper presents system identification in time domain, i.e. the process of obtaining a mathematical model based on measured data. The assessment is based on the single input multiple output case study. Input - output results were acquired by the experiment. In short this is theoretical identification of dynamic processes. The measured data are corrupted by noise. It can be seen the influence of the observer gain in estimation of the mathematical model. Script program and software package based on system observer is used. The simulation system is performed off-line. The system identification is intended for system supervision like structural health monitoring where any change in system can be reliably observed. Detection of location of structural change is not covered with this approach. The detection of the amount of the structural change requires specifically designed procedures. The system identification is typically followed with modal parameter extraction what requires additional signal processing not covered in this paper. However, identified system allows us simulation in state space what is useful in many NDT applications.
